So I've found a job in my hometown, so I guess I'm sticking around here for a while. :D
I'm working part time at Hobby Lobby in the frame shop, and I actually really like it. It's a wide, new skill set to learn, and I'm working with my hands and interacting with other artists and art lovers, which is fun. I never thought I'd enjoy working in retail, and I'm not sure I would if it were anywhere else.
I've also applied to teach art at a local art center, which would be nice if I got.
I'm trying to find an apartment too, and the second job would really help in that endeavor.

Well to be honest considering the depths of my disappointment with the manga I didn't think I could be let down any further. But hearing about Kishimoto's latest interview just caused things to hit a new low for me. In sticking with my proclamation that I was basically done with the manga, and any further continuation of what I felt is now a deeply flawed work, I had been staying away from the forums and such. However like the godfather it seems that, "Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in."
